    Privacy Policy

    The Golden Age Culture and Arts Association (hereinafter referred to as "the Association") has established the following privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") regarding the handling of personal information of users in the services provided on this website (hereinafter referred to as the "Services").

    Article 1 (Personal Information)

    Personal Information" means personal information as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Information Protection Law, i.e., information about a living individual who can be identified by name, date of birth, or other description contained in such information.

    Article 2 (Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information)

    The purposes for which the Association collects and uses personal information are as follows

    • To provide and operate the Association's services
    • To respond to inquiries from users (including identification)
    • To send e-mail notifications of new features, updates, campaigns, etc. for the service being used by the User, as well as information on related services provided by the Company.
    • To bill users for paid services.
    • For purposes incidental to the above purposes of use

    Article 3 (Change of Purpose of Use)

    The Company may change the purposes of use of personal information to the extent reasonably deemed relevant, and will notify the customer or make a public announcement in the event of such change.

    Article 4 (Proper Acquisition of Personal Information)

    The Association shall acquire personal information in an appropriate manner and shall not acquire personal information through deception or other wrongful means.

    Article 5 (Safe Management of Personal Information)

    The Association shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over its employees to ensure the safe management of personal information against risks such as loss, destruction, falsification, and leakage of personal information. In the event that the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information, the Company shall exercise necessary and appropriate supervision over the outsourced company to ensure that the personal information is securely managed by the outsourced company.

    Article 6 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

    The Association shall not handle personal information beyond the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use without the consent of the customer, except as permitted by the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations. However, this does not apply in the following cases

    • When required by law
    • When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent
    • When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children, and it is difficult to obtain the customer's consent
    • When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining customer consent may impede the execution of such affairs.
    • Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, the following cases shall not fall under the category of third parties to which the relevant information is provided
    • When the Association entrusts all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use
    • When personal information is provided as a result of the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
    • When personal information is jointly used in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law.

    Article 7 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

    When the Association receives a request for disclosure of personal information from the person concerned, it will disclose such information to the person concerned without delay. However, the Association may decide not to disclose all or part of the information in any of the following cases, and if it decides not to disclose the information, the Association will notify the person to that effect without delay.

    • If there is a risk of harm to the life, body, property, or other rights or interests of the person in question or a third party
    • If there is a risk of significant hindrance to the proper conduct of our business
    • If it violates any other laws or regulations.

    Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, in principle, the Company will not disclose information other than personal information, such as historical information and characteristic information.

    Article 8 (Correction and Deletion of Personal Information)

    The User may request that the Company correct, add, or delete (hereinafter referred to as "correct, etc.") his/her personal information if such information is inaccurate.
    If we deem it necessary to respond to a User's request as described in the preceding paragraph, we will make corrections, etc. to the relevant personal information without delay.
    In the event that the Company makes corrections, etc. based on the preceding paragraph, or decides not to make such corrections, etc. in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations, the Company shall notify the User of such decision without delay.

    Article 9 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

    A User may request the Company to stop using or delete (hereinafter referred to as "stop using, etc.") the User's personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law on the grounds that the information is being handled "beyond the scope of the purpose of use publicized in advance" or that the information was obtained "by deception or other wrongful means.
